What’s Floating Into Summer
As summer slowly drifts closer, I have been thinking a lot about how quickly this year is already moving. There is something magical about this time of year. The longer evenings. Warm air. Kids laughing outside. Bubbles floating through sunlight. It always feels like the world softens a little.

Recently, I had the joy of performing at Mayday, a festival I absolutely love returning to every year. Every season, alongside all my other performances, I try to make the experience bigger, more immersive, and more magical than the year before.
This year, we introduced something brand new. Bubble stations.
I wanted children and families to experience more than just watching a performance. I wanted them to step into my world and become part of it.
I spent intentional time hand making a collection of tri string bubble wands, and alongside by performance area, we created interactive stations where kids could choose how they wanted to explore the magical world of bubbles. Some stations allowed them to use the large tri string wands with buckets filled with my own personal bubble solution to create giant floating bubbles across the field. Other stations had tables covered with different shaped wands and tools so kids could experiment, imagine, and create bubbles in their own unique way.
One of the most beautiful parts was watching kids realize they could do what I do.
Not just watch magic happen.
Create it themselves.
That is one of my biggest dreams through all of this. Not only living this magical life, but passing the knowledge, wonder, and joy down to others.
We even created a magical pathway leading into the bubble world itself. A fairy archway welcomed families into the space, with flowers, bubble chains, and flowing cloth tassels tied along the path leading toward the pavilion where I performed and out into the grassy field where the bubble stations waited. Simply walking through the archway felt like stepping into another realm.
And honestly, people embraced it completely.
Children wandered through the pathway with wide eyes. Adults slowed down and smiled. Families stayed longer than expected just to play together.
The bubble stations became one of the biggest highlights of the festival, and I am already dreaming up ways to expand and develop them even further for upcoming events and festivals this year.
Lately I have also been spending time creating new moments for future shows, testing ideas, listening to music that feels like summer, and thinking deeply about how I want people to feel when they experience the magic this year.
Not just entertained.
But lighter.
More connected.
More present.
Some of my favorite moments from performing are not even the biggest illusions or most impressive bubbles. They are the quiet moments.
A child reaching toward a floating bubble.
A room suddenly bursting into laughter.
A parent smiling because for a few minutes, life felt simple again.
I think there is a lesson hidden inside all of that.
We spend so much of life rushing toward the next thing. The next goal. The next task. The next worry. But wonder only exists in the present moment. Magic only happens when we allow ourselves to slow down enough to notice it.
Sometimes the most meaningful experiences are not the grand ones. Sometimes they are as simple as sunlight passing through a bubble while a child laughs nearby.
That is something I hope people carry with them this summer.
What’s Coming Next…
Over the next few months, Riverstone Entertainment will be bringing magic, laughter, bubbles, and wonder to libraries, festivals, schools, birthdays, camps, and community events all across the season. Every event becomes its own little world filled with connection, imagination, and unforgettable moments, and I cannot wait to share these experiences with so many amazing communities this year.
As the seasons slowly begin shifting later this year, I am already planning ahead for August, September, October, and November events. It is always exciting seeing what adventures appear on the calendar and wondering where the bubbles will float next. I am booking fast so if you are looking to book me for the fall and winter fill out my booking form asap
This summer, I’ll be touring libraries across York and Cumberland County, and you can also find me at festivals like the, Bringing in the May, and the New York Faerie Festival.
More details are in the schedule graphics below. I'd love to see you there.

Bubbles and magic are such an important part of my life, and now they have become a way of bringing people together in a world that often feels far too busy.
So wherever you are reading this from, I hope your summer brings you moments of wonder, peace, laughter, connection, and maybe even a little magic.
And if you happen to see a giant bubble floating through the sunlight this summer, maybe let yourself slow down long enough to watch it drift for a moment.
