Front Row Thrills and Backstage Magic with Michael Carbonaro!
Hello friends, fans, and fellow magic lovers! I had an unforgettable adventure recently that I just had to share with you.
Recently I had the chance to see one of my favorite performers, the incredible Michael Carbonaro, live on stage in his show Lies on Stage. And let me tell you… it was a night of laughter, amazement, and pure magic from start to finish.
Even before the curtain went up, I was buzzing with excitement, I had a front row seat! The show was packed with clever illusions, hilarious moments, and that signature Michael Carbonaro charm. One highlight for me? I actually got to be part of the show! Michael asked me to share a picture from my phone to help with his disappearing person act. (No spoilers here, but… it was wild to watch that moment unfold from only a few feet away.)
The night was extra special because I got to meet up with my friend David Starr and his wife, who joined me for the show. We all agreed, Michael’s performance was pure magic and joy.
Afterward, I had the privilege of meeting Michael in person. Not only is he a phenomenal magician, but he’s also an incredibly friendly and genuine human being. We had a great conversation and even bonded over the fact that we share a magical mentor: the legendary Jeff McBride.
It’s nights like these that remind me why I love what I do, the connections, the shared wonder, and the joy of bringing magic into the world.
